Paddle sizing can be confusing when switching brands. Northstar paddle sizing is based on the length of the back side of the paddle, from the bottom of the handle to the heel corner where the paddle and the blade come together. This is often hard to measure since the heel is curved, so a simple way to figure sizing is to measure from the top of the handle straight down the paddle to where it crosses the bottom of the blade. Subtract 1.5 inches from that measurement and you will have the stick size.
In the photo below, the measurement is 29.5 inches. In this case, this would indicate the stick sizing is a 28 inch size stick.
This is a Beta test of simple way to compare your stick at home with NorthStar Sticks sizing.

Lay your stick on the sheets with the heel aligned with the heel graphic on bottom sheet as best as possible, keep back edge of stick on vertical line on all pages
Look at top sheet and compare where your handle curve is compared to the markings on the sheet
As shown, this size 26 medium stick aligns with the 26 markings on the sheet.
